A late-dropping American persimmon well suited to wildlife plantings. Fruit is medium sized, about 1¼ to 1½ inches, sweet with a nutty flavor, and the tree is a heavy bearer. Fruit ripens late and drops over a long period, from October into December depending on location, which keeps deer visiting well into hunting season. This is a female selection and needs a male American persimmon nearby for pollination. Rated for zones 6 to 9.
