One of the last introductions from the breeding work of Jerry Lehman of Terre Haute, Indiana, who crossed some of the best American persimmons and selected the most productive and best flavored offspring. Also listed under the number 100-46 (sometimes 100-45). Produces very large fruit with smooth flesh, clear pulp, and very good flavor. Not a large tree, but reported to be one of the heaviest producing persimmons.
